Interest Statement: I completed my undergraduate education at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL where I earned my B.A. in Neuroscience with a minor in French. I first became interested in epidemiology during my work on a literature review of behavioral interventions for cardiovascular health with Dr. Melissa Crane at Rush University in Chicago. My interest was solidified while volunteering during the first part of the COVID-19 pandemic. I hope to understand both systemic and personal differences that contribute to health. Eventually, I hope to use this understanding to work towards the dismantling of health disparities.

Why did you choose UW-Madison for your degree? UW-Madison is an excellent research institution with vast resources for its students.

What do you hope/plan to do with your degree? Upon completing my degree, I hope to work in the government sector.
