Biography

Mary Ryan Baumann is an Assistant Professor with joint appointments in the departments of Population Health Sciences and Biostatistics & Medical Informatics; she joined the UW-Madison as a faculty member in 2023. Dr. Ryan received her PhD (2021) and MS (2019) in Statistics from the University of California, Irvine, and her BA (2016) in Statistics and Bachelor of Journalism (2016) from the University of Missouri. She has previously held positions as a Postdoctoral Associate in Biostatistics at Yale University and the Yale Center for Analytical Sciences. Her current research interests are in correlated data and the design and analysis of clinical trials, with applications to Alzheimer’s disease. Curriculum Vitae Mary Ryan Baumann CV
