Margaret Nolan, MD, MS, is a physician-scientist at UW-CTRI, the UW Department of Medicine, and the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
She is also Assistant Director of the UW Preventive Medicine Residency Program, mentoring residents in the cancer prevention and control track. Maggie’s background is in Social Epidemiology and Family Medicine.
Prior to coming to the University of Wisconsin, she was a Research Fellow and Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Mayo Clinic, focusing on peri-operative smoking cessation research and intervention programs. She has a particular interest in clinical tobacco dependence treatment in cancer patients and traditionally hard-to-reach populations.
