Charles Brokopp

Charles Brokopp is a Professor Emeritus (CHS) in the Department of Population Health Sciences. He received his BS degree in Zoology and Medical Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and his MPH and DrPH degrees from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Brokopp is the former Director of the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene. His research interests included the application of laboratory sciences to support public health and environmental health programs, as well as the development of information technologies to effectively manage and share laboratory and surveillance data to improve public health, environmental health and occupational programs.
