Topic: Community-based participatory research for health equity
Bio: Dr. Cohen is an epidemiologist who does community-driven, policy-relevant applied epidemiology and public health research. She studies social and environmental determinants of health, and possible interventions to address these determinants. She is also involved in patient-led and patient-driven research on Long COVID. In addition to my primary appointment in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Dr. Cohen is affiliated faculty with the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies.
