Sheri Johnson in UW’s Addressing Systematic Racism Series

The Addressing Systematic Racism Series is an initiative of the UW Population Health Institute, lead by Associate Professor of Population Health Sciences, Sheri Johnson, in partnership with the Lifecourse Initiative for Healthy Families (LIHF).

The first  webinar of the series,  Addressing Systematic Racism: From its Origins to its Impact Throughout Life, was held on June 19th. The team state “This was the first in a series of virtual events and was born because of our current state of affairs, being caught in the middle of two pandemics: a health crisis – COVID-19- and a social justice crisis of police brutality, both exasperated by the social construct of racism.”
