Heidi Brown

Dr. Heidi Brown is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor at the UW SMPH. She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Her primary research focus is on improving access to effective treatments for pelvic floor disorders. Her current and past funding sources include the National Institutes of Health, the Wisconsin Partnership Program, and the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research at UW. She is a current member of the Editorial Board of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and is an author for Up To Date, Inc. She serves on committees for the American Urogynecologic Society and the International Urogynecological Association. She has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles and is a recipient of numerous academic awards for her excellence in research, teaching, and patient care.
