Biography

Brief Interest Statement: I majored in Statistics and Economics here at UW. While an undergrad I served as a research assistant on a team studying doctor patient interactions in a pediatric setting. I am interested primarily in quantitative methods of applied health research. In my free time I enjoy living in Madison, playing basketball, tennis and cooking.

What experiences in your life led you to study population/public health? I have always known that I wanted to be involved in quantitative research, and a career in Population Health will offer me many interesting opportunities to pursue this.

Why did you choose UW-Madison for your degree? The amount of high quality research experience I was able to get as an undergrad made sticking around an obvious choice.

What do you hope/plan to do with your degree? Government service or Academia.
