Cynthie is currently working as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Obstetrics and Gynecology department of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. She also holds a degree in Psychology as well as a Medical degree. The three areas of interest listed on her application include epidemiology; maternal and child health; and international health. It appears that her real passion lies in expanding health perspectives from focusing on the individual to a focusing on a broader recognition of community and global health. She plans to use the skills acquired through completion of her MPH degree as a bridge to other opportunities in advocacy, policy development, and clinical research.
